....based on nothing other than looking at the Bravo trailer on the teevee right now.

I invite you all to look out for it, and draw your own conclusions.

If you watch the trailer, you'll see the final three contestants awaiting judgment: Kenlee on the left, Korto in the middle, and Leanne on the right. Then, you see Heidi saying "Congratulations" while clearly looking to the left.....

Aaargh! Unless I'm misreading the positioning of people, or Bravo is playing with us, I think this might mean that evil Kenley, tormentor of the Blessed Tim, is the winner.

Prove me wrong, guys!

Leanne was on the left in the shot that I saw.

OH! You've given me some hope! I'll have to watch again...

I had read the spoilers/hints on televisionwithoutpity.com and was looking for the lineup and where Heidi looked. I saw Leanne and Kenley exactly reveresed to what you saw but Heidi did look to her left. There was speculation that there may have been congrats delivered to all three before the announcement of which oe did NOT win, so who knows.

If we are to believe the previews, (and honestly, what has Bravo actually tried to hide all season?) Leanne is the winner.

Heidi is clearly looking left, and Leanne is on the left. Korto is in the middle, and Kenley is far right.

Ah - so someone else had the same idea as me - except I must have not been looking closely enough, because I thought it was Kenley on the left.

All these girls look the same to me... ;-)

I don't know who wins it, but I did read some really good reviews of Leanne's show at fashion week. Regardless of how she does, I think she'll flow right into the industry in a big way.

My first impression of her collection when Tim came to visit in last week's episode was that it looked incredibly samey. Everything on the rack appeared to be either solid turquoise or white/beigey, and they all had the wavey thing going on.

There's always misdirection involved, so who knows. The real question is why any of us still gives a rat's ass.

True..!

The most craptastic season ever! Can they recover (either on Bravo, or Lifetime) or have they jumped the shark?

I honestly don't know where this criticism is coming from. I've found this seasons as fun, interesting, and occasionally irritating as every other season. My big fear is that, like any show that lasts, this show is being kicked around simply because of its longevity.

Speaking for myself, I think the quality of the work put out by the designers has been much lower than many of the preceding seasons - that's my biggest beef. The designers overall have not produced inspiring and inventive responses to the challenges (e.g. the 'supermarket challenge', where most went for the obvious solution of tablecloths and shower curtains; the Olympic challenge, where when they went to the Olympic Museum, many of them designed retro costumes because they had little originality), plus their technical expertise has left a lot to be desired (the quality and finish of many items this season was much poorer in the aggregate than previous seasons, IMO)

OK - that and the fact that I think this is the first season where no ghey has made it to the final - the sacrilege!

(Just kidding - teh gheys this season were a pretty sorry bunch - I think we ended up with the correct top three)

We did, though I did like Jerrell out of the lot of queeny homos.

Though I was sad when Keith and Straight Joe didn't make out ALL THE TIME.

Yes - it would have been nice if Joe had found his inner ghey with the help of Keith.

'Television Worth Watching'... :-)

Being the suckiest PR season ever, I wouldn't be surprised that Kenley won. Although, honestly, all three are rather inconsistent in their designs, and the winner will be the one with the least awful dresses.

Me, I rather stick to Top Design this time around. That's where the talent in Bravo is these days.

Yes - and it helps that Preston is kinda easy on the eyes... :-)

Glad Wizit is gone - he was creepy!

From what I saw of their collections, I could imagine any of them winning, although Kenley would never, ever be able to develop constructive criticism skills if she wins.

And I think I have to come clean, and say I'll watch the PR finale over debate #3. I could watch PR later on re-run... but really, why?

Date: 2008-10-14 01:28 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] inbhirnis.livejournal.com
Do they clash? Oh, I guess they would on the east coast. The debates tend to start around 6 or 6:30pm here, so plenty of time to watch it and the more important PR finale.... ;-)

Actually, as I've said before, I don't watch the debates - it's too much like hanging around, waiting for an accident to happen. Instead, I open up 3 or 4 'live blogs' of the event, just to keep an eye on how it's going.

Makes sense! Yep, both PR & the debate are at 9pm here...
