I think Barbie '09 better be OK with Wardrobe by Thrift Store (and the occasional Macy's going-out-of-business sale), hair by Supercuts (or Flowbee), and seing a "For Sale - Bank Owned" sign in front of the Malibu Dream House.

I am friends w/a guy who lives part-time here who has been involved in "Barbie development" at Mattel (which is headquartered in El Segundo).

He was recently laid off, along with a bunch of other people.
