Jack is Back!

Torchwood Season 3 will be here in the summer, according to the article. I can't say I'm a huge fan of the show, but a little gheyrotic British scifi on the telly is always welcome. And, it will tide me over until there's a full season of Doctor Who, which won't happen until 2010 (with the new guy - not sure how I feel about having a 26 year old as the Doctor, but I'll give it a go). There will be four 'specials' throughout the year, so all is not lost.

But - 5 episodes? That seems odd, if I'm reading the article correctly. Normally, a season is around 13 episodes or so.

edit: just found out that the five episodes are all part of a single story, so it's a kind of miniseries.

And the best we could get here was the start of Season 2 of Torchwood! That's via UK-TV. I'm hoping that it's just filling in for a while as repeats but somehow I don't think so! We only just had the Dr Who episode with the Dalek that became emotional and asked to be exterminated!

You mean the one with the Dalek-Human hybrid in 1930s New York? That's Season 3, I think, so you certainly have a bit of catching up to do!

No, the episode with the last Dalek in a 'museum' that is activated by the Drs assistant. It takes her DNA and starts to have emotions. Perhaps you haven't seen that one!

OMG! That's from the very first season! We've just finished Season 4. You're WAY behind... I'm surprised that Australian TV wouldn't have picked it up sooner.

Ive since found out that UK-TV is WAY behind and ABC has had the latest series!I didn't think we were so backwards.
