I wasn't overly impressed tbh. It was OK, but Lee Evans was really annoying and I'm still a bit pissed at Rusty for taking BBC (hence my!) money to Dubai - he can be terribly politically naive when it suits him. I guess it just didn't feel very special for a special, if it had been a mid season two parter with a bit more character development I may have been more enthusiastic...
I may change my mind when I watch it again.
As for Ryan - she's quite categorically said she's not interested in a lead in a serial. I guess her bad experience in Hollywood has put her off that kind of thing.
